about
I am a Colombian-Australian by blood, birth and life. Being bilingual I learnt from a young age to appreciate and value the power of words.

Both of my parents were brilliant writers in their respective languages; my late mother was poetic and my father is technical. My mother dared me to dream of becoming a writer and now many years after her death it is something I feel bold enough to tackle. It is to her that I owe many things, including this endeavour. For this reason I use her surname to write under.

I have self published a collection of poems called The Moon tells the Sun.

I live in Australia between Sydney and our farm near Gloucester in New South Wales. I have two amazing children, an amusing husband and three (cute but annoying) dogs.
